Borderlands 4 can criticize Steam, what’s up?

Borderlands 4 has just been released recently. The game that had become a talk about the price is now one of the most popular games among gamers because of the excitement of gameplay and jokes.

But behind all that, it turns out the Borderlands 4 game received criticism by the players on the Steam platform. Why did the players on the platform criticize this game?

Until this news was raised, the review obtained by the Borderlands 4 game at Steam was a mixed review which means at least, more than 30% of the player’s review is a negative review.

This negative review certainly arises for some reason, namely optimization and performance of this game on a PC that looks not so good. One review explains that the game is experiencing a stutter, frame drops, and loading that often appears.

This problem even occurs on a PC that uses modern GPUs such as RTX 4080 and also 5080 where to play with a resolution of 4K 60fps with DLSS is quite difficult to achieve.

Low settings are considered quite heavy?

Other reviews also lired that the performance is quite heavy even using the low graphic settings. According to this player, he used the GPU RX 6900 XT when playing and could not reach 60 fps when using the low settings.

This performance problem is certainly a bad thing for a game. Given the many specifications available, some problems certainly cannot be avoided by the development team.

Gearbox itself has issued a guide for NVIDIA optimization at Steam Community Game Borderlands 4 and advises players to adjust the settings to the specifications they have.

And the gearbox also gives a note that after changing the settings, the performance will not change immediately because the game will re -recompile for the existing shaders so that it takes at least 15 minutes so that the results are visible.
